By Jide Dominic, Yenagoa

The Managing Director (MD) of Super Allgreen Limited, Beleuibimo Sunday, has dismissed the allegations of over stepping his boundaries in the collection of revenue at the Swali Ultramodern Market in Yenagoa for the Bayelsa State Ministry of Trade and Investment and the State’s Board of Internal Revenue.

Speaking to newsmen in Yenagoa, Beleuibimo Sunday stated that his company, Super Allgreen Limited, was officially engaged by the Board of Internal Revenue on the 26th of July, 2023 as a revenue collection agent attached to the market, adding that his job descriptions include collecting revenue for parking spaces for large and small vehicles in the parks in the market, toll renenue for tricycles and other vehicles, wheelbarrows and hawkers operating within the market.

He further explained that he was given a target of remitting ₦3,000,000 (three million naira) to the coffers of the Board of Internal Revenue monthly and he has been meeting the monthly target, describing the allegations as a calculated attempt by some mischievous persons to blackmail his hard earned image in the society.

He noted that he met a target of ₦7,000 (seven thousand naira) monthly but has shored it up to ₦3,000,000 (three million naira) through his creativity of introducing new methods of revenue collection and the construction of drainages and repairing of damaged roads to ease vehiclular and human movements in the market.

The Super Allgreen MD however urged other agents like him in the market to contribute their quota to the overall growth of not only the market but also the society as a whole.
