Comrade Chris Ovie, President General, Okpe Professionals Worldwide; President, National Association of Postgraduate Students, UNIBEN and Director General, Center for Community Health and Rescue Operations, has commended the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for appointing a lot of youths into his cabinet. He described the move as a right step in the right direction.
Going further he also congratulated Rt. Hon. Onoriode Agofure, Dr. Joseph Onojaeme as Commissioner designates and Hon. Arthur Akpowowo Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, for their appointment and election respectively while wishing them a successful tenure in office.
According to Comrade Ovie, the vision of Governor Oborevwori in putting these calibre of personalities in his cabinet is much “like a fresh anointing aimed at taking the acclaimed big heart state to the pinnacle of greatness among the league of the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
“These set of personalities will surely deliver on their numerous assignments just as they will not let the people of the state down in any circumstances. Theirs is a collective mandate which they must nurture to fruition in line with Governor Oborevwori’s campaign theme of bringing Delta State to speed in the area of good governance.
“To put it in the right perspective, the journey that Governor Oborevwori, his team including the above mentioned personalities, are embarking upon is a watershed in the history of credible and due diligence in the act of governance. May their tenure bring forth fruits of success that will be the hallmark of the achievements of this administration.
“I wish all of them the very best in all aspects devoid of any form of setback or regrets as they take the trip of positioning Delta State at the top of the ladder of good governance just as I pray that their names be etched in gold for the good deeds they championed while in office.”
