Ahmed Aigbona, a reputable sports writer, just passed on after suffering from what was tagged a ‘breathing situation’.
In his life time Mr. Aigbona was not only a sports writer/journalist he was an encyclopaedia of events and occurrence.
He rose within the media rung to become the President of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria(SWAN) with affiliation to the Nigeria parent media outfit, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).
He hailed from Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State.
