Again the management of the Edo State House of Assembly have barred some reporters from covering the day’s plenary.
The excuse is that the chamber is too crowded and there is a need to maintain social distancing in line with the covid-19 pandemic protocol.
Personally supervising the ejection of the ‘unwanted reporters and others’ is the Clerk of the House, Yaya Umogbai.
The question on everybody’s lips is why has the chambers not been moved out of the Government House back to its more spacious office situated at Ring Road where it used to be?
