Information reaching this newsdesk is that Natasha Osawaru Idibia, wife of African Queen crooner, Innocent Idibia(aka 2Baba), will soon be joining the bandwagon of decampees from the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) to the All Progressives Congress(APC).
Pregnant Natasha, who is a member of the Edo State House of Assembly representing Egor Constituency on the platform of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), is said to be on her way to the All Progressives Congress(APC) because of the great setback the party associated with the umbrella logo is going through.
Some months back while the PDP was the majority in the Edo State parliament, Natasha was the Deputy Majority Leader of the House until the scenario changed and some of the lawmakers started switching from the PDP to the APC thus making the latter become the majority in the parliament.
Thus Natasha by the rules of the House had to vacate her position as Deputy Majority Leader just as others did stepped down from theirs.
Popular News gathered that Natasha has become unsettled with the new political equation in the state and is therefore calling it quits with the PDP.
“In a few days from now Natasha will be officially dumping the PDP for the APC employing all the razmattaz that she and her hubby are associated with. Expect to see 2Baba turn the defection programme to some showbiz stuff by performing live for the APC faithfuls that are expected to grace the occasion,” a source divulged.
