There is serious infighting ongoing in the Edo State All Progressives Congress(APC) as the Minister of Regional Development, Hon. Abubakar Momoh and the Chairman of the party, Emperor Jarret Tenebe.
The palava was said to have been propelled by the suspension of the Chairman of the APC in Ward 9 Etsako East Local Government by Emperor Jarret.
This did not go down well with the Minister who is from the ward and he was said to have queried what prompted Tenebe to take such an action despite all pleas by the party stakeholders that he should soft pedal.
Minister Momoh reportedly threatened Tenebe that his action will not sustain that Tenebe’s case would be forwarded to the Presidency to caution him on his perceived excesses.
It was on this premise that party members woke up on Tuesday morning to hear that Tenebe has allegedly called on the Minister to take over the affairs of the party.
