“It is obvious and undisputable that, Akoko Edo is blessed with great women and rare gems who foresighted men and women can entrust with key positions as regards the progress and unnegotiable development of the great people of her constituency.

Akpaida affirmed that communication remains key for development and promised to establish a community radio station, which is already in the pipe line and close to climax, to open up the area to the outside world.

She also highlighted potentials available in the constituency and the entire local government area, which needs projection and adequate support, with the need to change the narrative, which is why she is selflessly offering herself to serve her people in this capacity.

The aspirant also spoke aboutn the key thing that has been lacking between the representative and the represented which is communication. The lacuna between the representative and the represented since 1999 and the people, and she emphasized the need for change.

“The women and youths remain the drivers of any economy yet they remain the most neglected in our political clime. This is why I appeal for your support to ensure that I clinch the party’s ticket and then together we win the election because since Akoko-Edo became a local government in 1963, no female had represented us in the house. This is our time.”

Akpaida said there is a new dimension to politics which members of her constituency need to key into while she champion’s the lead of her people to glorious days.

Akpaida, who is leaving no stone unturned in her quest to represent Akoko Edo Constituency 11 in the Edo State House of Assembly, was until recently the Head of Station(HOS) of DAAR Communications, Benin Network Centre.
