His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare 11, Oba of Benin, has felicitated with Muslims on the occasion of Eid-El-Maulud marking the birth of Prophet Mohammed.
He enjoined Muslims to reflect on the teachings of Prophet Mohammed by embracing peaceful and harmonious co-existence.
His Royal Majesty reminded Muslims that every religion condemned violence in its entirety and hatred for one another, adding that religion should be used to build bridges across social, cultural and ethnic divide.
The monarch called for prayers for the nation’s leaders so that they can administer the country on the path of true development, peace, security, unity and progress.
