My response to baseless, illogical allegations – By Abubakar Malami, SAN

Breaking: Timipre Sylva declared wanted by EFCC over $14.8m fraud allegation

Dr. Patrick Eholor(aka Ultimate Equals), the visionary founder of One Love Foundation, has emerged as a prominent voice against corruption in Nigeria.

His recent commentary applauding the analysis of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) boss, Mr. Ola Olukoyede, sheds light on the alleged financial mismanagement during the tenure of the failed All Progresdives Congress(APC) government led by Muhammadu Buhari.

Eholor asserted that ministers in Buhari’s cabinet, under his watch, siphoned off over N2 trillion funds that could have addressed critical societal issues such as infant mortality, infrastructure development, and healthcare. He emphasizes the collaborative connivance with the EFCC at that time.

Drawing attention to senior advocate Agbakoba’s call on Arise TV for President Ahmed Tinubu to crush the alleged cabal, Eholor underscored the gravity of the situation. Even prominent figures like Rufai, in an emotional moment on Arise TV, expressed deep concern for the state of Nigeria.

In a bold move, Eholor condemned ministers who purportedly mishandled COVID-19 funds and inflated contracts, branding them as murderers. He advocated for a death penalty for corruption-related offenses, underscoring the severity of the consequences.

Calling on President Tinubu to spearhead the fight against corruption, Eholor invoked Tinubu’s transformative potential as the “stone the builder rejected that later became the chief cornerstone.”

He urged a thorough investigation, beginning with Dr. Betty Edu, the former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation and others implicated in corruption.

Eholor’s unwavering commitment to justice and accountability stands as a beacon of hope in the ongoing struggle for a transparent and corruption-free governance in Nigeria.
