Abduction of monarch: We will not negotiate with abductors, says indigenes of Jaba

The people of Jaba, in Southern Kaduna, whose traditional ruler was abducted some days ago, have given the kidnappers until Wednesday, July 28th, 2021, to return him in “one piece.”

A respected indigene of the area(name withheld) who was a member of the National Assembly a few years ago, was speaking the mind of his people in a chat.

“I am from Jaba and the abducted monarch the Kpob Ham is my traditional ruler. A first class chief, a PhD holder, a recipient of OON and a successful farmer.

“His abduction is a very sad development, the height of the insecurity we have been facing in Southern Kaduna.

“We the Ham nation view this as provocative and will do everything and anything to rescue our ruler.

“The abductors have up till tomorrow, Wednesday to bring him back in one piece and in good health. No negotiations.”
