On behalf of myself, my family and the good people of All Progressives Congress(APC) Club 3, I, Alhaji Shehu Shaibu (aka Manporipo), leader, APC, Ward 7, Etsako West LGA, (Director for Special Duty, Presidential and Senatorial Campaign Council Edo North) hereby congratulate the elected National Assembly members from Edo North on their inauguration into the 10th Assembly.
The resounding victories at the polls in your various constituencies shows that you are capable of changing the narratives and fortunes of Edo North.
As a former labour leader and a two time governor of the state, I have no doubt that Senator Adams Oshiomhole (Edo North Senatorial District) will deploy truly progressive instruments that will impact differently in his constituency. Leave indelible marks of greatness as you did when you were Governor of Edo State.
Hon. Danco Anamero (Etsako Federal Constituency). Etsako people have benefitted from your numerous projects and empathies over the years. I implore you to impact positively on your constituents by raising your voice on the floor of the House to support people oriented bills.
Hon. Peter Akpatason (Akoko Edo Federal Constituency) and Hon. Julius Ihonvbere (Owan Federal Constituency) have left indelible marks on the sands of time having served diligently as federal legislators. I urge you to bring your wealth of experience to bear while you consolidate on your achievements in your various constituencies.
I encourage all the legislators from Edo North to hit the ground running with quality people oriented bills and transformative representation that will lead to grassroot development in Edo State and Nigeria in general.
Uphold the principles of transparency, accountability, and selflessness; engage in productive debates that will promote effective legislation that will advance development and improve the lives of the Nigerian people.
The people have given you the opportunity to speak for them at the Red and Green Chambers. Therefore, be focused, vocal and outstanding while carrying out your legislative functions.
I also pray God to give you the wisdom, courage and strength to do what is required of you by your constituents as you make laws and sponsor bills that will be in favour of Nigerians.
