Former Governor of Edo State, Chief Lucky Igbinedion, has described as a rude shock the news of the sudden death of the Chairman and Founder, DAAR Communications PLC, High Chief Raymond Aleogho Dokpesi.
In a condolence message, Chief Igbinedion who described the late High Chief as a personal friend noted that the late business mogul was a rare bred ambassador of Edo State who committed all his time and resources to the development of Edo State in particular and Nigeria at large.
According to the former governor, the death of High Chief Raymond Dokpesi has created a huge vacuum in the Dokpesi and the PDP families.
He noted with grief how the late business magnet deployed his time, energy and resources in the prosecution of 2023 PDP Presidential Campaign in which he was the Deputy Director-General of the Technical and Systems of the campaign council.
While enjoining both the Dokpesi and PDP families to take solace in the achievements of the departed especially in the areas of Mass Media/ Communications and job creation, Chief Igbinedion said the late friend will be sorely missed and prayed God to grant repose to the soul of High Chief Raymond and courage to his family and friends to bear the irreparable loss.
