Prince Tony Eweka (Ogievie 1), Benin born traditionalist, was one of the awardees at the Oodua Special Recognition Award(OSRA) held in Ile Ife, Osun State.
He joined an array of high networth individuals from all walks of life spread across the globe who got recognition for their degree of excellence, worthy character and immeasurable philanthropy.
Also in attendance at the epoch event was the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, whose presence added colour to the occasion.
According to the organisers of the annual event, International Events and Lifestyle Magazines with headquarters in Lagos, “the ceremony was put together for the commemoration of personalities whose meritorious service are worthy of recognition.”
Prince Ogievie 1 was awarded the Oodua Influential Recognition Award at the event which held amidst pomp and pageantry.
In his response to the recognition accorded him, Prince Ogievie 1 thanked the organisers for their high assessment of his contribution to the upliftment of his fellow humans with a promise to do much more in due course.
