Saturday, October 1st, 2022, marked the 10th year that Vibes 97.3 FM, Benin City, commenced broadcasting.
To celebrate the historic day the management of the GRA, Benin, based trailblazing radio station, opened its doors widely for its friends, listeners, associates, patrons and the likes to join its staff in celebrating the epoch making occasion.
And guests cum listeners will relish the once in a lifetime opportunity they had to mingle with the OAP (On-Air-Personalities) most especially majority of those whose voice they only hear but have never met physically.
Delicious meal was served round in large quantity with choice drinks to ‘wash it down’ even as chart bursting music was slammed and jammed non-stop by the station’s kings of the wheel of steel thus keeping guests on the dance floor for much of the time.
Staff of the station led by its General Manager, delectable Mrs. Peace Ifidon, played the good host as they served guests ensuring that no one complained of lack.
To spice the day the gorgeously dressed and sweet looking ladies(they appear in different shapes, carriage and sizes) and guys added colour to the occasion even as a horde of the staff were given awards of recognition for their diligence to duty.
The party was so groovy that it took extra effort to convince guests that it had come to an end when it eventually ended that evening with a majority of the guests calling for an encore every year henceforth.
