Delta State based lawyer, Presley Okojie, has appealed to Godwin Emiefele, Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), to participate in the race to occupy the Presidential Villa(Aso Rock) in 2023.
He made the appeal at the launch of a group, Push Emiefele for 2023 Presidency, held in Benin City.
According to Barrister Okojie the appeal to Emiefele to come and rescue Nigeria in 2023 has become imperative in line with the present situation that the country is facing.
Barrister Okojie said that the CBN Governor has over the years with his barrage of effective policies in the economic terrain of the country has shown that he is better placed to solve our myriad of problems.
Going further, he solicited for a support for the group’s campaign so that the outcome would be favourable and as such Nigeria can be moved out of crisis when Emiefele becomes President of the country.
He disclosed that a choice of party flag under which the CBN Governor would campaign would be discussed when he eventually heed to the appeal that he throws his hat into the ring.
