Chairman of the Edo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Festus Alenkhe, has described the death of the Chairman of the Edo State Chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress(NLC), Comrade Sunny Osayande, as a colossal loss, not only to the immediate family, but to labour movement in Edo State and the nation at large.
Comrade Alenkhe described Osayande as a worthy ambassador of the labour movement who will be greatly missed.
He prayed God Almighty to console and grant the immediate family, friends and associates the fortitude to bear to bear the loss.
Comrade Osayande died in the early hours of Sunday, January 23, 2022.
