According to him the emergence of the former Central Bank of Nigeria Governor as the Governor-elect of Anambra State after a titanic battle that span three days between Saturday, November 6th and Tuesday, November 9th, 2021, is a pointer to the fact that he has the support of the generality of the people of the state.

“Your Excellency, Governor-elect Charles Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State, I am sending this congratulatory message to you as a mark of my show of support for your emergence after a titanic battle that spanned three days between Saturday, November 6th and Tuesday, November 9th, 2021.

“Your landslide victory is a sure sign that you are well loved across the state. Knowing your milestone achievements in your past position as the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria your emergence as Governor of Anambra State will no doubt be a plus to the development of the state.

“Also that you emerged via a free and fair process is a plus to the democratic system that we as a nation are practicing at the moment. I will seize this opportunity to give a big kudos to the electoral umpire(Independent National Electoral Commission) and the whole security agencies whose operatives were on ground to ward off untoward incidence that could have been a clog in the wheel of the election process.”

Going further, Hon. Onobun asserted, “indeed you’re a man of destiny and your footprints in the sand of time will be something that will be talked about in years to come.”
