Let’s join hands with Obaseki to build a strong Edo – Imansuangbon pleads

Multimillionaire business magnate and proprietor of Pacesetters Academy, Abuja, Barrister Kenneth Imansuangbon (aka Riceman), has appealed to the people of the state to join hands with Governor Obaseki “to build a strong and virile state”, adding that “if we build a strong and virile state it is better for all of us.”

He made the appeal on the occasion of his induction into the  hall of fame of the Ambrose Alli University(AAU), Ekpoma to mark the occasion of its 40th anniversary.

Speaking on the honour bestowed on him, Barrister Imansuangbon said: “I am triggered and motivated to do more. When you do good society watches. When you do bad, conversely, people know about it.

“So choose whether you want to be a bad guy or a good guy. I dedicate this award to the visionary leadership of Alli’s(ex-Governor of the old Bendel State) memory. 


“Alli never had an empire but look at it today, he is larger than life. So when you in government serve well, touch the lives of people. When you’re not in government do good touch the lives of the very weak.


“Let’s build our country, let’s build our state. I call on every Edo citizen, let’s come together, join hands with Governor Godwin Obaseki to build a strong and virile state. If we build a strong and virile state it is better for all of us.”

Earlier, in his welcome address, the acting Vice Chancellor of the institution, Professor Osarhieme Osadolor, stated that the “Hall of Fame session is to honour, appreciate and celebrate some illustrious personalities who have who have in one or more ways, impacted on the advancement or development of the University exceptionally.”


Barrister Imansuangbon and 21 others which among others included the Esama of Benin Kingdom, High Chief Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion; Chairman of Joint Heirs, Tony Elumelu; Chairman of LAPO(Lift Above Poverty Organisation), Dr. Godwin Ehigiamusoe and Christ Embassy founder, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.
