Olayiwola Afolabi Esq, Head of Signature Chamber with headquarters in Benin City, has played host to Comrade Festus Alenkhe of Edo Broadcasting Service(EBS), for his outstanding performance as a crime reporter.

The legal luminary stated that he took the step to honour and recognise Alenkhe as a result of the energy he exhibits in carrying out his duty of crime reporting.

He asserted that the way the honouree goes about his assignment is worthy of emulation and accolade adding that he will go places in his endeavours.

Responding Comrade Alenkhe said that he has no option than to do his duty in line with the ethics of the journalism profession and also to add value to his station’s ranking as a top-of-the-shelf corporation in the South South geo-political region.

He promised the gathering made up of some of his colleagues spread across the different media establishments in Edo State and the chairman of the Benin branch of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Barrister Pius Oiwoh and his entourage, that he will not let them down.

The grand occasion was marked with delicious meal, assorted drinks and melodious music.
