Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) Rebranding Committee in Bayelsa State has called for a united Christian Community in the face of current challenging times, stressing that it is only when the church acts as a united cord, it could surmount the seeming difficulties and be in a position to strongly resist any orchestrated evil plan by the enemy of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Speaking with newsmen shortly after having a closed door meeting with the State Pastor of Living Faith Church, (aka Winners’ Chapel), Pastor Samuel Olasupo, at Swali Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, Chairman of PFN Rebranding Committee,  Apostle Timiebi Gaius Kiyaramo, said the prevailing circumstances in our generation calls for greater care and attention to be shown to the human race through the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

According to Apostle Kiyaramo, who also is the General Overseer of Kingdom Grace Mission International Church, Yenagoa, Christians of all denominations can come together to forge a unified voice of faith.

He reiterated that only as a united voice can the church promote the values of honesty, integrity, kindness, compassion, support and sensitivity, saying that valuing the human dignity and worth of every single person is something of great importance to the Christian faith.

The clergyman noted that “the path to full Christian unity has been an ongoing campaign, but all of us must respect our brothers and sisters of different denominations, remembering that unity is something God also desires.”

“Christ bestowed unity on his Church from the beginning. This unity, we believe, subsists in the church as something she can never lose, and we hope that it will continue to increase until the end of time.”

“The church must always pray and work to maintain, reinforce, and perfect the unity that Christ wills for her. This is why Jesus himself prayed for the unity of his disciples.

He said the mandate of the PFN Rebranding Committee is to reconcile all agrieved pastors and encourage partnerships and synergy among various churches, informing that the committee has reached out to several churches across the state,  including  Deeper Life Bible Church and Redeem Christian Church of God.

He appealed to pastors of mega churches in the state to put up continuous appearance in all PFN monthly meetings in a bid to foster unity among pastors for the advancement of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Samuel Olasupo, thanked the PFN Rebranding Committee for the initiative and promised to participate in the activities of body for the advancement of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
