My appointment a call to service, says newly appointed Permanent Secretary

One of the newly appointed Permernent Secretaries in the Bayelsa State Civil Service, Dr. Jones Stow, has reiterated that his appointment to the apex of the civil service is a call to serve the state government and the people with utmost diligence.

Dr. Jones Stow, who said this shortly after his swearing in, further assured that he would operate an open door policy with a particular focus on transparency and accountability thereby giving back to the society.

In the same vein, the Chairman of the Bayelsa State Table Tennis Association, BSTTA and the representative of the South/South region on the board of Table Tennis Federation, Ama-Ebi Stow expressed gratitude to the state governor, Douye Diri for the well deserved appointment, noting that he is a hard working civil servant and the appointment would go a long way in spurring him put in his best for the overall growth of the society.

A member of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Ebizi Brown described Dr. Stow’s appointment as an asset to the state government being an experienced civil servant, adding that his vast experience would be brought to bear as he discharges his official duties.
