Edo Queens Football Club of Benin are yearning for victory in their match with Nasarawa Amazon at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin on Wednesday evening in continuation of
the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) competition. The match is slated for 6pm.
The Benin team, currently the defending champions of the competition, find themselves in the 3rd position on the league table in Group A and will be going into tomorrow’s clash with high hopes of victory.
The game is acclaimed as a must win battle for the Queens hence they are putting machinery in motion not to let their fans down in the epic battle against their opponents from Lafia City.
Both teams are actually not new to each other. They have met on several occasions. But tomorrow’s game will be different as the Queens earnestly seek the three maximum points.
The players and coaches have expressed confidence in the team’s collective determination to bring their professional expertise into play so as to pocket the three points at stake
Also the entire management remain optimistic that the tide will turn into their favour upon returning to their sanctuary, Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, after they were forced to 1-1 draw in Lagos last Wednesday by Dannaz FC of Lagos.
