N200b fraud: Yaya Bello in EFCC custody

Facts have emerged about the arrest and detention of the former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday in Abuja.

An impeccable source within the Commision informed that Yahaya Bello was at the car park of the Commision again today and the Chief Security Officer (CSO) of EFCC promptly arrested him and “took him into custody” at exactly 12.54 pm.

EFCC and had shunned several court sittings would be released on administrative bail before his eventual arraignment.

The Spokesman of the Commission, Dele Oyewale, confirmed the arrest and detention of the former governor.
