The World Journalism Institute (WJI) has fixed November 1, 2024 as deadline for interested applicants across the globe to apply for the Mid Career Course 2025 Program.
Information in WJI website revealed that the one week program slated for 2 – 8 March, 2025 in Kentucky, US is aimed to trained both experienced and novice reporters in their thirties and up to explore their calling and sharpen their reporting skills with a Christian worldview.
Its was also gathered that the program is free as WJI will cover the cost of tuition, accommodation and most of the meals.
The intensive training program which will attracts experienced and world class instructors from the media profession as Editors and Reporters will see participants report on local stories in multiple, boots on the ground reporting exercises.
The information further disclosed that beside the fact that participants will conduct interviews, write scripts, record audio profile or news story to broaden their broadcasting journalism skills, they will also receive line by line editing from the instructors.
Another notable privilege is that participants will have their work published on World platforms, and equally relate, discuss and network with alumni and other participants from different cultural background across the globe.
WJI’s mission is to engage, equip, connect, and encourage Christian called to use their gifts or talent in field of multimedia journalism, and this they have successfully done since 1999. It has equipped hundreds of Reporters to produce Biblically objective Journalism that informs, educates and inspires.
