Ex – WMA President honoured in Uyo

Dr. Osahon Enabulele, the immediate past President of the World Medical Association(WMA), is riding on the crest of his global recognition.

On Saturday, November 18th, the leadership of the Society of Family Physicians of Nigeria (SOFPON) honoured Dr. Enabulele, who is also a former President of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), with an Award of Excellence.

The award was one of the highlights of the closing dinner ceremony of the Association’s 26th Annual General Meeting(AGM) and Scientific Conference in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital.

In his response to the honour, Dr. Enabulele said: “I highly cherish this humbling gesture which, indubitably, will reignite my undiluted commitment to leadership excellence. I thank the leadership and members of SOFPON for this honour.”

Dr. Enabulele just recently successfully completed his memorable one year tenure as the President of the World Medical Association (WMA).
