Honourable Dekeri Anamero, representing Etsako Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has asserted that the government alone could not provide for the needs of the people.
The lawmaker appealed for support from people of goodwill to make provision for the downtrodden out of the abundance of their blessings, so that there would be peace and happiness in the society.
He announced the donation of 500,000 notebooks for distribution as Students Support Programme to school children in the three senatorial districts of Edo State under his Dekeri Anamero Foundation(DANCO).
Going down memory lane he said that the Foundation came into existence in 2011 to be of help to the under privileged. Anamero stated that since its commencement, the Foundation had been providing over 200,000 notebooks and paying WAEC enrolment fees for students in Edo North.
According to him he decided to also make the notebooks available to schools in the two other senatorial districts viz Edo Central and Edo South.
