The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo State Council, congratulates Dr. Desmond Agbama on his appointment as Permanent Secretary in the Edo State civil service.
In a statement signed by Chairman, Festus Alenkhe and Secretary, Andy Egbon respectively. The union noted that Agbama’s appointment is a testimony of his diligence and hard work in contributing to the Make Edo Great Again (MEGA) agenda of the Governor Godwin Obaseki.
According to the statement, the union is indeed proud and happy to identify with him on the positive development.
As a former Chairman of the council, the union expressed hope that the experiences Agbama garnered over the years would be brought to bear in his new assignment, describing his posting to the Ministry of Communication and Orientation as a well deserved one.
The statement also commended Governor Godwin Obaseki for finding a notable journalist worthy of the appointment.
