Delta APC Leadership: How Tinubu stopped Oborevwori/Omo-Agege fight

2027: President Tinubu has shown us love, we must reciprocate, says Oborevwori

A Niger Delta militant group under the auspices of dreaded Supreme Egbesu Freedom Fighters of Niger Delta, (SEFFND), Thursday, issued stern warning to Igbo groups, Ibo Lawyers Association (ILA), HURIWA, Secretary General of Ohaneze Ndigbo and other groups, allegedly attacking Dokubo Asari, to immediately desist from the act forthwith. The militant group threatened to go after the named groups if they refuse to discontinue their attack on Asari Dokubo.

This was contained in a statement signed by self-styled General Commanding Officer Agadagba 1(aka the River Don) along with other commanders in the creek of Bayelsa, who expressed pain over the alleged name dropping and blackmail of Asari Dokubo.

The group blasted the groups allegedly attacking Dokubo for refusing to sit down and watch unknown gunmen maim, kill and destroy lives and properties of fellow Igbos on daily basis without finding any solution to the bloodbath that has stopped the movement of persons and goods, hence imposed unlawful sit-at-home order that has crippled the economy of the entire South East region of the country.

The statement read in part, “The
Niger Delta dreaded militant group, Supreme Egbesu Freedom Fighters of Niger Delta(SEFFND) warn the Igbo Lawyers Association(ILA), HURIWA, Secretary General of Ohaneze Ndigbo and other disgruntled personalities to forthwith desist from attacking the well respected leader of the Niger Delta and freedom fighter, Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo Asari.

“We will not allow these diminishing insults, blackmail and name dropping by the ILA, HURIWA, Secretary General of Ohaneze Ndigbo and other disgruntled personalities to go on with this demeaning insensitive statements published on pages of newspapers and online media space any longer and we will not hesitate to go after them if they fail to desist from this act, as we have placed our men on standby across their zone.

“It is really disheartening for this groups to attack Asari Dokubo while the entire South East has been a zone of killing and kidnapping by the proscribed terrorists groups called IPOB and Eastern Security Network(ESN) which have made life unbearable for the people that have killed thousands of their people.

“The proscribed IPOB group have unleashed terror and horror on the people under the guise of fighting for an unachievable and laughable independence agitation. No call for the arrest of Asari Dokubo will yield any fruit, and it is just a mere and sheer waste of time.

“We unequivocally warn members of the ILA, HURIWA and Secretary General of the Ohaneze Ndigbo with other jobless fellows to desist from making frivolous, careless, provocative, inciting statements garnished with falsehood against our revered leader in the Niger Delta, the face of the struggle of the emancipation of the Niger Delta people, Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo Asari, who is a well respected traditional titled holder in Kalabari kingdom, and a pan Nigerian elder statesman.

“ILA, HURIWA and some groups of disgruntled elements of personalities are hiding from the truth and unnecessarily heating up the polity for their selfish gains in order to just attract cheap popularity from the media space by attacking Dokubo Asari.

“These are enemies of the Nigerian State, the peaceful coexistence and stability of the country. Therefore, we call on the security agencies not to turn their eyes from ILA, HURIWA, Secretary General of Ohaneze Ndigbo and some disgruntled elements because that was how the proscribed IPOB and the criminal ESN group started before our eyes.

“We challenge ILA, HURIWA, the Secretary General of Ohaneze Ndigbo with some of these disgruntled personalities who are jobless that appear on television stations to be concerned about the fire IPOB and ESN have set in the South East region of the country, and henceforth not to wag their tongues against Asari Dokubo who has been sacrificing his life and that of his men on the side of the federal government in support of the law enforcement agencies, fighting against the insurgency, terrorists and bandits in the northern part of the country and that of Imo, Enugu and Anambra states in the South East.

Meanwhile, the dreaded Niger Delta militant group debunked news making the rounds that Dokubo Asari was the brain behind the delay and non-renewal of the multi million dollar pipeline surveillance contract job the Buhari administration awarded to Chief Government Ekpemupolo (aka Tompolo).

“We make it clear to the general public that the respected National Leader of the Niger Delta and the face of the struggle for the emancipation of the oil rich people of the Niger Delta region, Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo Asari, does not have any hand in whatever reason that might have led to the delay and non-renewal of the said multi million dollar Trans Niger Pipeline, TNP, surveillance contract being handled and operated by Tantita Security Services owned by the former militant leader of Niger Delta, Tompolo,” they said.

The Militant Group “warned those who are peddling false information and trying to drag Dokubo Asari’s name to the mud over the pipeline surveillance contract job in order to gain favour before the former handlers to stop henceforth.”

The group stated that “Dokubo Asari is a Nigerian and is a bonafide Niger Deltan who have been in the forefront in the struggle for the emancipation of the Niger Delta people and as a firm supporter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Presidency in the region, has the right to also bid for such pipeline surveillance contract if he wish to and we don’t see any offence or sacrilege to that effect.”

The group stated that they are in full support of Dokubo Asari’s stand in defence of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu mandate in the ongoing Presidential Election Tribunal case and “will do everything humanly possible to stand side by side in support of the leader of the Niger Delta People’s Volunteer Force (NDPVF), former President of Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) worldwide, because this is one man whom we have seen that is bold, courageous, fearless, dogged and outspoken that speak truth to power no matter who’s ox is gored.”
