Last moments of Lilian Omokhuale, daughter of Benin born multibillionaire, who committed suicide last weekend

Rumours continue to trail the passage last Saturday of Lilian Omokhuale, the daughter of Sir Uyi Omoruyi Oloton, multibillionaire proprietor of Uyi Technical Conglomerate with corporate headquarters in Benin.

One of the rumours is that the deceased started having a feeling that the dream multimillion naira business proposal that was presented to her was a scam when after several months when the business was supposed to have taken off her business ‘partners’ were not forthcoming.

Rather the scamsters were said to have opened up another pitch to the deal asking that she makes more money available as the money that she made available fell short of what was indeed needed to get the business moving.

It was rumoured that she had to fall back on her family’s good name to get some huge sum as loan given under stringent conditions. Some months thereafter some of those that gave her the loan started calling her to confirm payment of the loan based on their agreed terms.

Seeing that she was not financially solvent to pay back the loan as at that period, Lilian allegedly opened up to some family members who made money available for her to settle these set of loan sharks.

Soon other loan sharks made a call to her for their own payment. It was alleged that when she reached out to her family this time some questions had to be asked as to how much was the total amount that was really involved.

She allegedly got frustrated when she felt that the kind of response she expected was not forthcoming and she thus sent a message to her family that she may be forced to take the option of committing suicide.

According to the sources, her family members cautioned her to calm her nerves down but before help could come her way she carried out her threat leaving her family in sorrows and tears.
