2027: Council boss talks about why Tinubu must return

Osaheni Igbinigie, Head of Local Government Administration (HOLGA) of Oredo Local Government Council of Edo State, has stated that the return of President Bola Tinubu to the Aso Rock Villa should be a fait accompli as Nigerians now understand his agenda and believes in him.

He made the statement in a chat at the Oredo Local Government Council office in Benin City on Wednesday morning.

On Governor Monday Okpebholo, Igbinigie said: “Our able governor does not joke with the welfare of the citizens. He has been actualising his campaign promises. That’s why they call him ‘the talk and do governor’.

“He always match up his talk with action and ensure that the job is done. For instance, take a look at the extent of work done on the flyover bridge that he started some few months ago. We, the council chairmen, that are his lieutenants try to emulate him.”

On Okpebholo our able governor does not joke with the welfare of the citizens. He has been actualising his campaign promises that’s why they call him ‘the talk and do governor’. He always match up his talk with action and ensure that the job is done.

On his scorecard as boss of Oredo Local Council he affirmed: “As the Chairman of Oredo Local Government Council which is considered the heartbeat of the nation I always strive to ensure that the council takes leading positions in everything we do.”

Talking about the alignment of the state with the President Tinubu 2027 agenda, he asserted that “we must make sure that President Tinubu comes back in 2027. That’s our last hope. Everybody believes in his agenda.” 

On the state of politics in Edo State, he stressed: “Tomorrow (Thursday, June 12) a tsunami will happen in Government House. We’re sweeping the remaining members of the opposition political parties into the All Progressives Congress(APC).”
