Presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Gregory Obi, has said that at this time in the history of Nigeria he is the right person to occupy Aso Rock Villa as President.
He made the statement while addressing the party delegates in the state at the state secretariat headquarters in Benin on Wednesday afternoon.
The presidential hopeful said that something must be done fast to stop the backward tide of the wheel of governance as it is been experienced presently.
He asserted that if he gets elected he will endeavour to curb the massive wastage that is associated with governance in the country.
Obi said what he gains from his frugality would be channelled to creating wealth to cater for the generality of Nigerians.
He appealed to the delegates to support his aspiration so that the coming generation can have something fruitful to hold on to as it will require a miracle to hand something reasonable to the coming generation the way the affairs of the country is being run.
