The “Residual Heat” of 2023: When questioned about the 2023 presidential election results—where Labour Party candidate Peter Obi won Edo State—Okpebholo attributed that outcome to internal friction and governance issues under the previous administration of Godwin Obaseki, rather than a lack of support for Tinubu. But be it as it may Governor Okpebholo talks and acts in accordance with his promise. He doesn’t fall within the dictates of the group of those who derive joy in loud talks that they’re certain will yield no positive results.
